Pet in Need: Lucky + Peanut
Posted On 02/16/2012 by Laura Benn

BREED
Pom-Pom-Pomeranian!
AGES
Lucky is 14 and Peanut (her son!) is 12.
STORY
We lived with our devoted Dad in Ottawa for our entire lives. Very recently he developed cancer as well as dementia and had to be moved from our home. We were left all alone with a neighbour looking in on us, but our extended family decided it would be better for us to go to a home where we could be taken care of properly.
FAVOURITE SNACK
This one is easy! Cheese, cheese, cheese! Please, please, please!
FAVOURITE GAME
We’re not sure if we should tell you this — it’s almost like giving away the fun! We love running up behind our people and surprising them with sneak ‘attacks!’ All in the name of play of course. We’re also great at sneaking kisses when you least expect it! Watch out!
BIGGEST FEAR
Maybe you’ve noticed? It’s a big world out there! Because we’ve had a pretty sheltered life, we’re a little nervous of new people. However, we do warm up quickly!
HUMOUROUS QUIRK
Lucky: “I don’t know why this is funny, but my double paw salute never fails to bring the house down with laughter!”
Peanut: “I talk to myself — a lot!”
BEST QUALITY
We are positively ecstatic whenever somebody comes home! Seriously, it’s embarrassing how excited we get!
CATCH PHRASE
“You look like you really want to pet us!’
