heelerBefore I introduce this week’s dog in need, I’d like to share some happy news. Here are the furry faces who found new homes and a second chance at life in February thanks to the tireless work of Hopeful Hearts. It was such a thrill to see little Bubba on that list, a former Pawsh Pet of the Week! Hopefully this week’s foster pup, Chloe, will soon find her new family as well!

Chloe is a 10-year-old Aussie Cattle dog/Blue Heeler mix. She was born in Kentucky and lived with a family until she was removed from her home due to neglect. Chloe then ended up in an overcrowded shelter with little to no hope of being adopted due to her age. Lucky for Chloe, the shelter she was in was looking out for her and they contacted Hopeful Hearts. Chloe is now living in a foster home. She is a friendly and social girl who loves being around humans or sharing her space with other dogs. Although she still has a fair amount of energy for her age, Chloe is quiet indoors.

FAVE GAME: Chloe loves chasing squirrels. Due to this, a home without cats would probably be best.

FAVE SNACK: Chloe is highly food motivated so choosing just one favourite is difficult.

FUNNIEST QUIRK: For some reason anytime Chloe sees a bus, large moving truck or tractor she gets very vocal and will try to chase it away. Otherwise, she walks like a proper lady on the leash and doesn’t pull at all.

CATCHPHRASE: I love to love ya!
