Little ones who adore their dog often find it extremely difficult to be parted from them, making a leather dog toy (intended for children, not pets) an adorable temporary substitute. Of course, nothing can possibly replace the real Fido, but Ellen Heilmann‘s gorgeous contemporary toys are crafted with such care and detail that each appears to come alive with its own unique character. This project is the result of a partnership between Heilmann and Kathrin Schumacher and are fondly nicknamed Waldi (above) and Sprinter (below).
