Hello everyone! We’re bringing you a special Saturday afternoon post this week because we have some big, albeit unexpected, news! PAWSH has entered into the fabulous “Small Business BIG Impact Challenge” for a chance at the grand prize, but we need your help! Today is the absolute last day to vote and we need votes for a chance to win! Our apologies; we would have given you more time, but we found out about this contest at the last minute and scrambled to put our application together!

We can hardly believe that yet another month is over. Where does the time go? Oh well. Enough philosophical pondering for one morning — there are more pressing matters at hand, like finding out who will be crowned April 2011’s Pet of the Month! Remember the lucky pup who wins will receive a lovely collar and leash combo from our fabulous friends at Peachy Keen Pets!

Today’s the big day! Prince William and Kate Middleton are getting hitched! Wonder if any of the Queen’s corgis will make it to the ceremony or reception? To mark this union we thought it might be nice to share some uber-cute doggy canine photos with you! We’d like you to meet Roxy. A lovely Domestic Longhair presently in the care of the Ottawa Humane Society. She is estimated to be about five-years-old and was surrendered to the shelter by her owner.
