If you spend your working hours with a cat or dog by your side, you’ve probably realized that they will steal your chair whenever possible and often times refuse to surrender their prized location.  This little habit certainly happens in the PAWSH office time and time again, which has led us to ponder which chairs are best suited for work with pets. So we’ve come up with this stylish list!

The Riola Chair by Dauphin is a sleek and (if we may say so) sexy little design that combines a polished metallic finish with molded arm rests and rib knit seat. The best part about this chair, however, is that its prominently curved mid-back support creates a cozy little pocket for furball to nestle into.

The Eames Management Chair is easily one of our favourite designs of all time, which can adapt very nicely to your pet sidekick. To begin with the sling seat conforms to the person’s body and is designed quite widely, which makes sharing with your dog or cat a spacious affair. It also incorporates high-quality leather, making cleaning a breeze! Simply wipe down with a gentle damp cloth and volia!

The Eero Ball Chair, also known as the Globe Chair, is just so darn comfortable and cozy it had to be included on our list! Take your laptop and snuggle away in this rotating ‘room within a room’ and bring Fido or Fluffy along for the ride!

The Jacobsen Egg Chair is one of the most recognized designs in the world of furniture. Although not specifically designed for office use, there’s no reason why this scoop like seat cannot suit a laptop savvy business man or woman. Above you can see a twist on this traditional design, for the upholstery is floral and funky. The Egg Chair is frequently made with varying fabric options meaning you can find a style that really suits you and your pet! Oh yes, pets love to curl up in this dollop of design divinity!

Whether you’re working from a stylish chair or a comfy couch, there are all sorts of ways a pet can help ease the stress of your work day — especially when they are snuggled up beside you.  Where do you and your pet work? What are your favourite seating arrangements
