Acclaimed Egyptian/Lebanese songstress NEeMa (yes, the low-caps ‘e’ is supposed to be there) has unveiled her new video for “Elsa’s Lullaby,” a heartfelt tribute to her beloved dog of the same name. The video features Elsa and NEeMA romping through the chilly streets of Montreal and lounging around their old apartment in Northern Canada. And we must say, we’re swooning over this beautiful simple song.
Elsa, a former stray rescued by NEeMA from the cold streets in Northern Canada, inspired these poetic lyrics, which now stands as an endearing depiction of the relationship between pet and owner and a testament to the triumphant spirit of rescue animals everywhere.
Offering tender vocals, a sweet acoustic melody and a mesmerizing video that makes you want to cry with joy, “Elsa’s Lullaby” from NEeMA’s sophomore album “Watching You Think,” is a must listen for any animal lover. Please find the video below.
