Handmade Love Perfect for Father’s Day

Hello, friends! My name is Bonnie and I am so excited that Laura has allowed me to come share with you today. I author Going Home to Roost, a blog dedicated to everything handmade and anything homegrown. However, because I love our sweet golden retriever, Toaster, I also keep a dog blog on the side just for fun. To combine my two favorite things with you today, I’ve decided to put together a little round up of some handmade pet items, any of which would be perfect gift ideas for the proud pooch papa! I hope you enjoy!

(clockwise) the westerly trench; $80, rust retriever mini journal; $8,  yellow dog; $55, sage honeycomb dog tie collar; $40,  small dog bed; $58, on the lookout; $40, keep calm corgi; $16.50

Nacho: Pet of the Week

Mischief is this little one’s middle name and finding the most comfortable napping place is the name of the game! Meet Nacho, an adorable dachshund who was caught red handed messing up one of mom’s pillows. Uh-oh! Such boldness, however, deserves some recognition, so congratulations Nacho on being this week’s Thursday Furball!

Divine Dining

Boring old dinner dishes move over! There’s a new design in town that is worth whipping out table manners for! The Lula Dog Bowl from Alessi offers a superb level of luxury that is both aesthetically appealing and functional. The curvaceous mountain top on this dish not only hides empty bowls from sight, but also protects uneaten food and keeps it safe for later. The designer behind this lovely creation is none other than the oh-so talented Mirri Miriam, who has become known for sophisticated pet dishes. What do you think? Are these bowls drool worthy?
