Keeping our pets properly hydrated is of the utmost importance, especially when they are frolicking about the home. But what kind of water dish do you use? Here are two options to consider each with some pros and cons…
On the left we have what is known as a pet fountain — a device that circulates water to keep it fresh. The benefits to this type of product is that it prevents dust, fur and other unmentionable things from lingering in your pet’s water dish. Equipped with a refined filter, it ensures that the H20 is crystal clear and does not require refilling as frequently as its more traditional counterparts. However, some pet owners find the sound of running water (although quite minimal) to be disruptive and the need to change filters on a regular basis incur an additional expense.
On the right we see a traditional stoneware dish. These pieces are very stylish, heavy so as to prevent any unwanted tipping and designed to be dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. However, they do require refilling and cleaning on a daily basis.
Two great, but very different products. Which type of water dish do you prefer? These bowls are also pretty and these portable pet water bowls are great for travel!
