There are no words to describe how much I love dogs and animals. There really aren’t! And every time I read a report about animal neglect or hear about the horrific conditions that so many lovely dogs and animals have to endure every day all over the world, my heart collapses. I feel crushed and hopelessly ineffectual because often times animal welfare issues seem too big for one person to take on and solve alone. (more…)

2015 PUGSTOCK: PAWSH PET PHOTOBOOTH
Guess what? Pawsh is returning to Pugstock 2015 in Ottawa this October and we’re bringing a lovely pet photography photo booth with us to capture all of those adorable pug wrinkles and mannerisms!
We had a fantastic time at this festival last year and learned a lot from our experience. We hope to apply those lessons to this year’s photobooth to make it even more fun for all who come out! The event takes place on October 25th 2015, but visit here for all the details.

What we still need help deciding is how to dress up our set for these portrait sessions. Should we bring pumpkins and hay bales for a seasonal feel or keep it very minimalist to ensure a more timeless aesthetic?

TORONTO DOG MAGAZINE: BACK TO BASICS
Just a quick note to say thank you to everyone for your patience while Pawsh took a little hiatus this winter. We needed to get away and recharge, destress and seek balance, spend some time detatched from the constant computer time and really just hug our dogs to help get us reinvigorated about the Pawsh project.
Happily we will be returning to regular scheduled programming next week. The past several weeks have been spent cooking up new fun, bite-sized features for the blog that you and your pupsters can enjoy on the go!
We are so looking forward to getting back into chit-chatting about dog wellness, behaviour, fantastic products and living a dog-friendly lifestyle on a regular basis. We have missed it deeply. Thank you everyone again and again for sticking with us while we worked to rediscover our own ‘pawsh’ voice amidst the general noise of life and the media world. We can’t wait for next week!

On March 9th 2014, Pawsh Studio will be hosting ‘Spring Mini Sessions’ in Toronto. These quirky yet stylish pet portraits are designed to highlight the many fresh facial expressions of your dog in a timeless, yet contemporary style.
We’ve all had a very long, chilly winter this year, so I thought this would be a fun, bright way to celebrate the upcoming change of seasons! Spring certainly cannot get here fast enough!
INCLUDES
- one dog per session (no props)
- 20-25 minutes of studio shoot time
- 6 proofs | 3 final, low-res photos | $10 print credit to use towards luxury prints
- ONLY $65! (plus HST)

*these mini sessions may not be used for commercial purposes. Only dogs with dog manners please.
All mini sessions will be photographed in the cosy comfort of Pawsh’s own studio. This is a professional working studio space. However, no flash is used so as not to startle pets and the main concern is always the well-being of the animal. Every photo session is relaxed and designed to be comfortable for the dogs.
