One of my favourite things to do on a lazy Sunday morning or cozy evening is to curl up with Rory and the latest issue of The New Yorker. I’m sure you’re all familiar with the wonderful publication, but did you know that there has been a book released exclusively devoted to the dog-related cartoons! The New Yorker Book of Dog Cartoons is a humourous read and offers insightful, as well as satirical, commentary on a dog’s life and how we perceive them. Here are a few of our favourite panels….

Five issues of an independent magazine is a big deal in my books, so it felt only right to feature a noble Great Dane on our fifth cover. Photographed by the ever lovely and talented Tonya Pet Photography, this is the image that will open our next issue entitled Furry Fancy. I don’t want to give away too much of what lays behind this cover, but let me say this — there will be all sorts of pawsh prettiness and care like you have never seen before!
