Well the muddy paws have arrived and so has the inspiration to create a country-chic dog-friendly mudroom. Not only will revamping this space for canine comfort help keep your house a little cleaner this season, but it will entertain your dog too! All you need are a few essentials..

A comfy bed for your dog to rest after a good run outside is a must, as is a country-chic dinner/water dish for a quick snack. A couple of rattan baskets are ideal for tossing used towels after drying off pup or keeping outdoor play things safe and sound. And who could forget a few antique finished hooks for hanging leashes, as well as a trusty treat canister to help train your dog to stay put and a tasty chew toy to keep them busy while they dry. Canadian Thanksgiving is next Monday (October 8th!) It is my favourite holiday of the year, because the sentiment that surrounds it is simple and beyond beautiful. There are no gifts, no cards, no material elements, simply delicious food, even better company and an occasion to celebrate all that is good in your life.

Unlike our beloved dogs, I don’t think we take enough time to truly appreciate the positive things that surround us. It’s too easy to dwell on the negative and feel beaten by bad news. So I would like to ask for your help this year in commemorating the goodness.

Doors open today! PAWSH was lucky enough to receive an exclusive sneak peek into the beautiful boutique. The gorgeous pet items are displayed in creative and memorable ways making this truly a sight to behold! I think there can be no doubt about it — the Parisian pets will be giving fashion week attendees a run for their money thanks to this novel pop-up shop!
