What a creative twist on the traditional idea of a doggy door. The sweet little awning makes it seem like pup is entering their own miniature hotel while the pretty plant pots add a certain ‘pawsh’ flair. How I would love something like this in my future home! Wouldn’t you?

We all that it is important to socialize our dogs from a young age so that they are confident, personable individuals, but did you know…
…that it is also important to introduce a dog to different sorts of people on a regular basis. Limiting your dog to one demographic can unintentionally condition them to be fearful or nervous of others. For example, if you spend most of your time hanging out with the girls, your dog could become nervous around men and vice versa. That is why for a truly confident and well socialized pooch it is best to have them interact with all ages and ethnicities so that they too can enjoy the diversity.

…fortunately, our pets never do. In fact all pets know is love and kindness. Just a friendly reminder, in case anyone is having a bad day that there is good in the world. Lots of it. Just look to your furry companion and you’ll see what I mean. Let’s all try and live a little more by their wonderful example, yes?
In the past Pawsh has run articles about couch potato cures for your dog, fun games to play with pups on rainy days and how to keep boredom at bay. Today I am pleased to be adding to that collection of wellness-conscious work, because I have discovered a new way to keep Rory entertained while I enjoy a little bit of relaxation at the same time. It is a super simple game to play with your dog.
