Pawsh on Pinterest

I’d like to share something today. Pawsh is on Pinterest — the fabulous new platform that serves as a virtual never-ending inspiration board. The truth is I’ve been pinning for ages now and am completely obsessed with this new format for collecting ideas, sharing inspiration and keeping things in mind for the future.

I have been keeping my pinning private thus far, only because I find it a relaxing way to escape into my imagination and an interesting way to connect with myself and my own sense of aesthetic. I didn’t want that haven of sorts under any sort of pressure or observation, as so many things these days are touted in the public eye and driven by the desire to ‘gain followers’ or grow an audience. However, I have been so impressed with Pinterest and its unique manner of helping an individual cultivate their sense of style that I wanted to share Pawsh’s pinning experience with you and invite you to follow my boards, if you’re interested.

This invitation isn’t for the reasons I mentioned above (aka ‘gaining followers’ etc), it is because I truly believe that anything positive in this world should be shared and enjoyed with others. Pinterest has been a remarkable place for me personally and a wonderful way to keep track of the things that you either admire, aspire to or just plain old like.

I only pin things that I like. I only pin things that speak to me on a positive level, and I pin about a wide variety of subjects, including our dear sweet pets. So if you’re interested pop by and take a peek at Pinterest — it is truly a beautiful place to spend some time.

It’s here! Pawsh No.4!

It’s here! Pawsh Magazine No.4 “Heart Song” has at last arrived and with it all sorts of wonderful new contributors, as well as our beloved writers, photographers and designers who have been with us from the beginning.

We’ve tried a few new things in this issue and we’ve kept a few classic things. We have a fantastic interview with a terrific dog travel blogger, an adorable photo-spread featuring a pet you may not have thought of before, a scrumptious kitchen creation that will have humans and canines alike drooling with anticipation and of course our usual pages of pretty products and expert advice.

As always, bringing this magazine together is a lot of work, but it is work that is done with passion, humour and fun that makes it an experience to be relished. I would like to once again thank EVERYBODY involved in this project for your incredible dedication, support and enthusiasm. I would also like to thank everybody who sent such kind emails over the past few days in response to Thursday’s post. Your words were inspiring, comforting and very much appreciated!

Be sure to spend some time on our contributors’ pages and click through to their websites — there is lots of talent waiting for you on the other side. I hope you enjoy the latest installment of Pawsh! xo

Oh hey!

Hello everyone! Apologies for the absences lately. Life has taken some very sharp and very unexpected turns and between managing that, keeping to deadlines and finishing up the next issue, the days are just not long enough to do everything.

The Pawsh blog will be taking a little break until Monday, just so we can regroup, focus and finish “Heart Song.” Also, it will give us a little bit of time to think about the future of Pawsh and its direction for 2012, which we are extremely excited about!

Thank you for your patience and understanding everyone! In the meantime, be sure to keep up with PAWSH on Twitter — we’ll still be tweeting and sharing great things that we find throughout our day. xo
