Photos by Liz Bradley

It’s Family Day on Monday, a holiday dedicated to spending time with loved ones, and Rory and I are all over hanging out even more than we already do! We haven’t quite finalized our plans yet. Maybe we’ll visit relatives, maybe we’ll spend the afternoon at the dog park, or maybe we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner with some very special people.

Something Family Day always reminds me of is the importance of taking pictures and capturing those moments, people and events that you will want to remember always. I find most of the time I am the one behind the camera, my finger poised ready to snap at every Kodak moment that happens. As a result, I have very few photographs of myself with people I love. However, one of the perks of having amazing photographer friends, like Liz Bradley who took the photographs above, is that great pictures are only a phone call away. I can’t express how much it means to now have a few photographs of Rory and I together in the same frame and I would highly recommend that everybody book a family portrait session at some point this year. You will not regret it, especially if your photographer is as sweet and fun as Liz! There’s another photograph over here if you’re interested.
